We're excited to announce that after a 12 week pop up in Unit 18, The Piazza, Huddersfield in 2022, our Textiles Hub has been granted an extension! We're extremely grateful to Kirklees Council and their initiative Temporary Contemporary, repurposing empty retail units for use by creative charities and social enterprises.
We moved into Unit 3 in March 2023, and will be there until December 2023.
We are the first Fabric and Haberdashery scrap store on the High Street in the UK! Everything we sell has been donated to us by the textiles community locally. From the manufacturing industry, to small designer-makers, hobby crafters and many more, the shop is a treasure trove of textile finds, enabling a circular economy to flourish.
In addition to buying and donating to the shop, there are many other ways to support us. You can book onto a workshop, join us for a Stitch Social, use the workshop space for your own textile group or volunteer with us.
Opening hours: Wednesday - Saturday, 10am - 4pm.
