Alright folks, I'm embarking on the frankly terrifying task of wallpapering my dining room. I've chosen a rather bold, patterned paper (wish me luck!), but I'm having serious doubts about my DIY skills. I've managed to paint rooms before, with varying degrees of success, but wallpaper seems like a whole different beast. Perfectly matching the seams, avoiding air bubbles... it feels like an Olympic sport! Does anyone have any recommendations for a decent wallpaper hanger in the South London area? Or any tips for things to look out for?

Hanging wallpaper is definitely not for the faint of heart! It's one of those things that looks easy until you actually try it. Since you’re looking for someone reliable and local, I can share my experience. Recently, I also had a room wallpapered, and I found a company that was great. I can recommend painters and decorators South London as they have a listing for wallpaper hanging as one of their primary services and might have some availability in your area. The preparation is key to getting a good finish, making sure the walls are smooth and properly sized is really important. A good wallpaper hanger should also be able to advise you on the best type of adhesive to use for your particular wallpaper. Wishing you all the best.
