Winter Warmers

Join us to try out some hand-sewing techniques to upcycle your own winter wearable! We'll be creating felt embroidered embellishments to add to clothing, which can also be used as decorations for your tree or added to the front of a greetings card.

We'll be running three one-hour slots throughout the day: 10-11am, 12-1pm and 2-3pm. 

Since this will be our last workshop in the space before Christmas, we'll also have some festive refreshments, lots of seasonal tunes and general merriment! 

Skill Level: All ages and abilities welcome.

You’ll need: All you'll need to bring is a jumper you'd like to give a new lease of life to! We'll also have a few spares, if you don't have one to bring with you.

Materials included: We'll have examples of the types of decorative additions you could use, templates of a festive theme to create embellishments for your garment, and all the tools and supplies to help you customise your garment.

Healthy & Safety: during the workshop everyone  will have their own materials and tools. Sanitiser and disinfectant will  be available. If you feel unwell please let us know and stay home.

The space has level access, however the toilet is down a few sets of stairs.

Course conditions: the workshop needs minimum  numbers to run. In the unlikely event it doesn't meet this the workshop  will be cancelled. Your booking is secured by payment and if you choose to cancel you get a refund up to 7 days before the event however after  that no refund can be given. Please don’t arrive more than 10 minutes  before the workshop starts, unless previously discussed.
