Upcycle It!
Bring along your clothes that need reviving and print, dye and stitch them into something new!
Time & Location
13 Sept 2026, 10:30 – 13:00
Packhorse Shopping Centre, King St, Huddersfield HD1 2RT, UK
About the event
Refresh your wardrobe, take fashion into your own hands and resist fasy fashion with three different techniques!
Bring in clothes that you love but need a refresh, alter them with upcycling techniques, lino printing and tie dyeing. Join us for the whole 2.5 hours or just pop in for a bit.
Tie Dyeing
Try out tie dyeing with Kim Searle from Darn It! Workshops, this works better on cellulose fibres (cotton, linen, canvas, hemp, jute, rayon and more) however it will come up much paler on synthetics. Perfect for trousers that have lost their colour, slightly stained t-shirts and more! This takes time to develop so you'll take your piece away in a bag to wash out after.
Lino Printing
Embellish your clothing using lino prints made by members of Hudds Queer Social! This works best on clothing with a flat pile, like t-shirts, denim, linen and more.
Upcycle
Upcycle your gear with Julia Reobuck from Upcycle Fashion!
This session will focus on customisation rather than mending. If you'd like to try mending, we have another session here:
