Upcycle Fashion Youth Club

We’ll be upcycling unworn T-shirts and giving them a new lease of life by transforming them into bags, yarn and accessories.

Skill Level: this session is suitable for beginners with no sewing involved, with the focus on the cutting and knotting of fabrics, adapting shapes and function and creating something unique. No prior experience necessary, but an interest in creativity is welcomed.

You’ll need: All materials will be provided, including T-shirts, but feel free bring an old t-shirt if you can.

Course Conditions: Parents / carers are welcome to stay throughout the session but it is not essential. We will collect contact information for all parents and carers and be in touch prior to confirm regarding travel arrangements for those young people arriving and departing on their own. Please don’t arrive more than 10 minutes before the workshop starts, unless previously discussed.

Healthy & Safety: during the workshop everyone will have their own materials and tools. Sanitiser and disinfectant will be available. If you feel unwell, please let us know and stay home. The space has level access. However, the toilet is upstairs.
