About the event

Sew Queer is a monthly stitch social for LGBTQIA+ folks in Huddersfield. This is a non-taught session for you to bring your own project and craft alongside others. Hosted by our co-founder Kim (she/her), who is passionate about creating safe spaces for queer folks that are social and don't just revolve around bar culture! (Please note: this is for 18+ only - there is a provision for LGBTQIA+ youth via the Brunswick Centre).


As part of our Sustainable September programming we'll be focusing on mending, you're welcome to bring your own crafts, and this isn't a fully taught session, but there'll be resources and materials available to mending things! We do have a full taught mending workshop here:
