About the event
FREE clothing repair workshop for Asylum Seekers, Refugees & Migrants.
We will teach you some hand sewing skills for garment repair - useful skills to mend everyday wear and tear, including sewing on a button, patching a hole and darning knitwear.Â
Skill Level: Open to any ability
Materials included: full mending kits, fabrics, threads, buttons
Healthy & Safety: during the workshop everyone will have their own materials and tools. Sanitiser and disinfectant will be available. If you feel unwell please let us know and stay home.Â
Course conditions: Please don’t arrive more than 10 minutes before the workshop starts, unless previously discussed, and let us know if you can't make it so we can give your space to someone on the waitlist.
