Kumihimo Braided Jewellery

Kumihimo braiding is a really absorbing and addictive form of braiding with a wide range of coloured cords. It's an ancient Japanese craft used throughout Japanese history, inluding to hold samurai swords, for clothing and homewares. Easy to grasp and lots of fun, it's like French Knitting for adults. By the end of the session you should have at least one professional looking finished bracelet.

Skill level: Suitable for beginners

You’ll need: Nothing! All tools and materials will be provided.

Healthy & Safety: during the workshop everyone will have their own materials and tools. Sanitiser and disinfectant will be available. If you feel unwell please let us know and stay home. The space has level access, however the toilet is upstairs.

Course conditions: the workshop needs minimum numbers to run. In the unlikely event it doesn't meet this the workshop will be cancelled. Your booking is secured by payment and if you choose to cancel you get a refund up to 7 days before the event however after that no refund can be given.. Please don’t arrive more than 10 minutes before the workshop starts, unless previously discussed.
