Kirklees Pride 2025

Huddersfield’s Creative Piazza has planned a day of celebration for Pride, which takes place on Saturday 7 June. 

This free, family-friendly event promises a fun, inclusive and lively atmosphere, transforming Creative Piazza into a spectacular space filled with creativity, music and community spirit. No booking required.

Throughout the day, Creative Piazza organisations will be running drop-in creative workshops, offering everyone the chance to get hands-on, learn new skills and make their own Pride-themed art. Make a mini-wearable stitched Pride flag or help stitch a collaborative flag. Thread Republic will also be running a Sew Queer Stitch Social all day.

Supported by Kirklees Council, Arts Council England, the National Lottery Community Fund, One Community Foundation and the Postcode Lottery Fund, the event is part of a year-round programme designed to bring people together and celebrate diversity.

The Creative Piazza Pride celebration takes place on Saturday 7 June 2025, from 11am to 6pm across the Piazza Centre, Princess Alexandra Walk, Huddersfield, HD1 2RS.
