About the event

This free workshop is designed for beginners with an interest in fashion, textiles, pattern cutting, and garment construction. Suitable for all ages and skill levels, but particularly those aged 16 and above.


Join Debbie Allsop, Lecturer in Fashion Design at the University of Huddersfield, for a hands-on workshop introducing the fundamentals of flat pattern cutting, dart manipulation, and the principles of Zero Waste pattern design.


Debbie will also be available to discuss courses offered within the Fashion and Textile Department at the University of Huddersfield.


All materials and equipment will be provided.
