About the event

Inspired either by a place you love, or an imagined landscape, you will learn how to select fabrics and place them to create a background for your landscape. You will then learn how to build up details with a range of hand embroidery stitches and selection of different threads, alongside embellishments. By the end of the workshop, you’ll have created your own uniquely expressive landscape to frame or use in other projects.

Led by: Louise Goult, Textile Artist.

Skill Level: suitable for people of all levels of embroidery experience, from beginners to more accomplished embroiderers.

You’ll need: all materials are provided; if you have any threads or fabrics you would love to use please feel free to bring them with you. If you would like to be inspired by your favourite landscape, you may find it useful to bring an image with you - this can be printed or on a device.

Healthy & Safety: during the workshop everyone  will have their own materials and tools. Sanitiser and disinfectant will  be available. If you feel unwell, please let us know and stay home. The  space has level access. However, the toilet is upstairs.

Course Conditions: the workshop needs minimum  numbers to run. In the unlikely event it doesn't meet this, the workshop will be cancelled and you will receieve a refund. Please don’t arrive  more than 10 minutes before the workshop starts, unless previously  discussed.

Refund Policy: your booking is secured by payment.  If you choose to cancel, will will offer a refund up to 7 days before  the event. However, after that no refund can be given.
