Craftivist Textile Art

One of three workshops with Nicola across Thread Republic’s residency in Fair Trader, exploring aspects of Textile Art with Nicola Twynham. This empowering workshop will support you to explore ideas around kindness and compassion. We will look at the subtlety of promoting your ideas in engaging and creative ways as we create small textile expressions that we can’t wait to share in our communities. Using hand stitch techniques, applique and fabric paints all you need to bring to this workshop is good intentions!

Skill level: Beginner

Healthy & Safety: during the workshop everyone will have their own materials and tools. Sanitiser and disinfectant will be available. If you feel unwell please let us know and stay home. We’d ask people to wear face masks unless medically exempt.  The workshop is on the ground floor of the Fair Trader, accessible around the side of the building- however a toilet isn’t wheelchair accessible.

Course conditions:the workshop needs minimum numbers to run. In the unlikely event it doesn't meet this the workshop will be cancelled. Your booking is secured by payment and if you choose to cancel you get a refund up to 7 days before the event however after that no refund can be given.  Please don’t arrive more than 10 minutes before the workshop starts unless previously discussed.
