An Evening of Mending

To celebrate the launch of our Piazza Pop-Up Shop, we're inviting you to join us in our newly opened space for an evening of mending at Unit 18 in Huddersfield's Piazza Shopping Centre (the one between Toyland & Maker World).

Bring along anything from your mending pile to get some tips and advice from our expert practitioners on the best way to visibly (or invisibly!) mend, alter and repair those items in need of a bit of TLC. We'll have a full array of mending materials available - including sewing machines, embroidery threads and needles, patches and plenty of examples to inspire you!

We will also have a rack of donated clothing all in need of a repair of some kind, if you would like to have a go at mending and don't have a particular garment to bring along. 

The shop will be open too, so you can peruse the Textile Scrap Store and find out more about all the workshops and events we have coming up throughout the Pop Up. We'd love to see you there!

The space has level access, however the toilet is down a few sets of stairs.
